Biography
Rafael Ribeiro Icassatti, professionally known as Rafael Icassatti, is a Brazilian actor, writer, and poet. He began his artistic career in theater in 2017 and has since been developing his work across stage and audiovisual productions. He gained prominence for his performance as Caio Rocha in the film and web series O Segredo (2024), a role that earned him the Best Actor award in the Action, Sci-Fi, Horror, and Thriller categories at the Rio WebFest 2024. Icassatti began his artistic training during his school years, performing in two theatrical productions in Goiânia, his hometown: The Chronicles of Narnia (2017), in the role of Edmund, and The Lion King (2018), portraying Simba. He made his audiovisual debut with the web series and feature film O Segredo (2024), in which he starred as the protagonist Caio Rocha. He later completed his professional training at the Basileu França School of Theater, earning two qualification certificates. In theater, he appeared in three stage productions in 2025: A Incrível Viagem, playing Seu Alface, Trabalhador do Estômago, and Sangue; Fabricando Animais, as Cachorro; and Ateliê de Black-Tie, portraying Tião and Doutor. His performances have been noted for their versatility and commitment to character development. At the Rio WebFest 2024, Icassatti received international recognition for his work in O Segredo (2024), winning the Best Actor award in the Action, Sci-Fi, Horror, and Thriller categories, and was also part of the cast nominated for Best Cast in the same categories.
