During the trial against the alleged culprit, he must face veteran defense attorney Konrad Biegler. (The detailed account of the Von Bode case in two TV movies, each focusing on a different point of view, that of the policeman and that of the lawyer, from the kidnapping to the denouement of the trial, culminates in a third, which presents only the details of the latter.)
