L-DK Hitotsu Yane no Shita, (Suki) Ga Futatsu serves as a sequel to the 2014 film, shifting focus from the couple's beginning to the complexities of their relationship after becoming lovers. While the chemistry between Aoi and Shusei is stronger and supported by a more fluid storyline, some scenes stretch logic and feel overly dramatic, though still enjoyable. A highlight is the emotional tension when Shusei overhears Aoi and Reon, reinforcing the film's themes of love, rivalry, and the uncertainty of teenage decisions.
