"Where there's a Bumstead...there's always trouble and fun!"

Overview

Mr. Dithers invites the Bumsteads on a South American cruise. Somehow Dagwood winds up as the female drummer in the ship's band, while Penny Singleton gets to show off her Broadway background in some lively musical numbers.

This is an exceptional comedy-musical that I wish more people knew about. Penny Singleton, who played Blondie, was definitely a talented singer and dancer, and she most certainly proves it conclusively here. Wonderful fun.
