It's midnight and the portcullises descend on the doorways to trap a young lad inside the Bastille mètro station. Everything is locked and he's cold and it's dark so he decides to walk down the rat-infested tunnel where he encounters a man in a cave full of magical circus things. Indeed, there is an whole troupe of them of all ages, shapes and sizes and fun is the object of their desires in their echoey home. The clay animation is ideal for morphing the characters into all shapes and sizes and the audio acoustics also complement this quite engagingly as the young lad finds some new friends. The story here is incomplete, there's more to come...
