So you're telling me that this was made in 2011 and it still included "professionals" that were actually surprised asexual people aren't mentally ill? Wow.

We have Lori Brotto from the University(!) of British Colombia who treats ace people like guinea pigs to experience on, Dan Savage (who doesn't understand pride OR asexuality in the slightest despite being an LGBTQ activist) and others who express their ignorance all along the 75 minutes.

Overall, I think it's a shame this documentary doesn't focus more on David's work / AVEN, on the slow inclusion of asexuals to the LGBTQA community and didn't give more voices to asexual people themselves.
While it does briefly address the fact that ace people can be straight, gay etc., it leaves out a lot of important information. While the first few minutes were promising, I'm left wondering who the target audience is.

"[...] they are only interested in being left alone." - Best quote and I feeling I can definitely relate to after watching this documentary.
