During the early 1950s, five young female soldiers bravely volunteer to help build Xinjiang’s first man-made canal, overcoming grueling labor and harsh conditions. Known as the "Five Maidens of Tarim," they break records, find love, and embody the spirit of dedication and resilience in transforming the frontier and serving their country.
